INTERNET.COM TO LAUNCH 13th INTERNATIONAL EDITION--TAIWAN.INTERNET.COM
(Darien, CT--January 18, 2000)-- internet.com (Nasdaq: INTM), The E-Business and Internet Technology Network (http://www.internet.com), today announced plans to launch an international edition serving Taiwan's growing community of Internet professionals. The Web site, taiwan.internet.com will feature original content written by local journalists, as well as content from the North American edition and will be offered in the Chinese language. The site is expected to launch in March 2000."Following the success of our other Asian editions, we believe the market in Taiwan is prime for the type of content and services provided by internet.com. The Taiwan edition is a joint venture between internet.com and InteLink Taiwan Corporation, a Republic of China corporation with its principal office in Taipei.
The site will further extend internet.com's presence in Asia, which currently includes asia.internet.com, china.internet.com and japan.internet.com. internet.com has recently announced plans to launch korea.internet.com, also to be available in March. asia.internet.com also provides daily Internet technology and industry news on Yahoo!Asia, Yahoo!
