(New York, NY - February 27, 2001) - internet.com Corporation (Nasdaq: INTM), the Internet Industry Portal, today announced that it has acquired and re-launched NewMedia.com (http://www.newmedia.com/), a vertical portal targeted toward Internet architects, from HyperMedia Communications Inc. (OTC BB: NMNW.OB). internet.com also announced the launch of two new internally developed Web sites to serve various segments of the Internet industry. These new sites, ApplicationPlanet.com (http://www.applicationplanet.com/) and eCRMGuide.com (http://www.ecrmguide.com/), along with NewMedia.com will be incorporated into internet.com's network, now totaling 169 Web sites.
