INT MEDIA GROUP MOVES ITS 802.11 PLANET TRADE SHOW FOCUSED ON LEADING WIRELESS STANDARD TO NOVEMBER
(New York, NY - September 25, 2001) - INT Media Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: INTM) today announced that in light of the September 11 tragedy, it has rescheduled its 802.11 PLANET Fall 2001 Conference & Expo, which was to be held at the Santa Clara Convention Center on October 2-3, 2001. The event has been moved to November 27-28, 2001 at the same venue. 802.11 PLANET is the first trade show in the world focused on the business strategies associated with the 802.11 wireless standard sometimes known as Wi-Fi. The show has attracted exhibitors and attendees from leading wireless companies and has also received official endorsement from the Wireless Ethernet Compatibility Alliance (WECA)."Due to growing concern for our attendees, sponsoring companies and employees, we believe that rescheduling 802.11 Planet Fall 2001 Conference & Expo is the right move to make.
